RentHop and RealtyHop are headquartered in New York City, with venture funding from Y Combinator and Two Sigma Ventures. The two founders graduated from MIT and Wharton, and attended graduate school at Harvard Business School and Princeton. We launched in the Summer 2009 Y Combinator class and have remained bootstrapped and profitable ever since. In 2020, we had team members working in New York City, Silicon Valley, Norway, and Kazakhstan. By mid 2021, we also opened our Taipei engineering office
