During my MS course, I’ve worked in Palynology & Paleoecology field. My project was about Palynostratigraphy & paleoecological study of Dalichai Formation in north of Neyshabour in order to create the paleoecological map of Koppeh-Dagh & Alborz geological states during Triassic & Jurassic. This was a huge project, one that no ordinary MS student could have handled; at least this is what everyone told me in my thesis defense session after giving my thesis a “Very Good” mark.

In my BS years, I joined the Geological society of Damghan University. I quickly moved to the top and become the Board Secretary of the society. During that time, my friends and I planned and executed two scientific field trips for students of the School of Earth Sciences, supervised the first national geological photography competition in Damghan University, managed weekly sessions of geological documentary shows (with a focus on dinosaurs), celebrated the International Earth day (April 22nd) in the university and published an issue of the society’s special magazine called “Pangaea”. The mentioned practical and field experiences helped me a lot in my MS years where I was focused on gaining laboratory experiences in micro-paleontology.
