A certified counselor based in San Juan Capistrano, California, Anthony Valanos works to help people create a path toward recovery from substance abuse and addiction. Since 2015, he has hosted the Sheer Recovery podcast, an educational platform that aims to raise awareness and share resources for people dealing with addictions. Over the past 6 years, Anthony Valanos has helped more than a thousand people make the decision to pursue treatment and begin the road to recovery. Mr. Valanos attended the University of San Diego, where he competed for several years on the school’s Division I football team. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in business administration with an emphasis in finance and real estate. In addition to hosting the Sheer Recovery podcast, he assists staff at the recovery center in their mission to help individuals achieve success in their recovery. Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Valanos enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and attending the New Song Worship Center.
