Brie Neumann is responsible for supporting Stonepeak's General Counsel on all legal and compliance matters.

As an Associate in the Corporate Department, Brie Neumann represented sponsors and investors in relation to the structuring, formation, marketing, and operation of private equity funds. She participated in all aspects of fund formation, including drafting and negotiation of term sheets, private placement memorandum, operating agreements, subscription and assignment agreements, investment management agreements, side letters, placement agent agreements, and marketing materials.

Brie Neumann advised European private fund sponsors regarding the structuring, formation and marketing of non-U.S. private equity funds contemplating U.S. offerings, including with respect to compliance with securities laws. Brie also represented institutional investors in connection with secondary transactions, including drafting and negotiation of transfer agreements, and review of underlying partnership agreements. Brie Neumann advised institutional investors in connection with participation in co-investments, including drafting of commitment letters.

Brie Neumann analyzed case files for compliance with federal employment discrimination laws, and conducted intake interviews with clients alleging employment discrimination and drafted formal charges.
