I was responsible for building signs using many different materials. Daily I would use tools to cut vinyl, lay it to a material, squeegee it down to make sure there were no air bubbles. This required an incredible amout of attention to detail and improvisation. I worked in a team with 3 other people and we all had to work together daily to acheive the goals of the company.

I had a channel on Twitch.tv for a few years. This is basically running your own business. I had to learn how to develop an online community, to create content consistently, I communicated with people I didnt know daily and had to make them feel welcome, and developed and maintained an online presence.

I took care of my termanilly ill grandfather while my grandmother worked to keep insurance. I had to set and maintain very strict schedules for medication and doctor visits. I developed great communication skills talking to doctors and nurses every day. I look back on this job as a blessing as it tought me a lot and I was able to spend every day until his last with my grandfather.

This was a contracted position through the program. I got placed with the director as an assistant. Less than one month into the 3 month contract, the director was terminated and they didnt hire another one. I took on the directors responsibilites for the remainder of the contract. I did payroll, onboarding interviews, job placements, job site saftey checks, attended a leadership confrence, administrative duties, I completely changed the filing system and passed an audit from the state government, and managed around 15 youth in the program.
