Cynthia Brown Komarek has been working in the finance and investment industry for over 30 years. After working on a master’s degree in education from the University of Kansas, Cynthia Brown Komarek went on to accept a position as a financial advisor with Oberweis Securities in 1982. In 1986, Cynthia joined E.F. Hutton in Barrington, Illinois until 1991 when she was recruited by Merrill Lynch in Barrington, Illinois. Cynthia Komarek worked for Merrill Lynch in Barrington and Crystal Lake, IL, for 17 years, during which time she was named to Merrill Lynch’s Circle of Excellence Club for earning more than $1 million in revenue. Her job involved managing investment portfolios for companies and individuals. She also managed the global stock options plan for a Fortune 500 company. As a financial advisor with Financial Services Company, in Barrington, Cynthia Komarek has been recognized throughout her time there as a consistent top producer and manages over $100 million in assets spread out over 300 accounts. Before joining SagePoint Financial, Cynthia Komarek served in a similar role with Wells Fargo for almost 10 years, where she was made a member of the Delta Sales Force, which was for select advisors to develop sales skills for high net worth clients. In her personal life, Cynthia Komarek is passionate about animals and donates to many animal rights organizations, including the Green Lake Area animal shelter, Fellow Mortals Wildlife Rescue, and the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
