I test all web properties owned by the Uber.com product team. They brought me on to introduce the QA process to their team, as well as do all the manual testing I can handle by my lonesome. This so far has included testing new pages against specs for new bugs as well as old pages for existing bugs. With Uber's global reach, internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y) testing are top priorities. I test on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. For TestLauncher, I remotely managed a global team of test engineers helping clients of various sizes with their QA needs. I comfortably interacted with everyone in the reporting chain, from the cleaning staff to the CEO. At Google, my team directly impacted the timely launch of Chromecast in 2013 ... in 2014, we took it international. Prior outings include Google TV and Slide. Before arriving in the Bay Area, I was busy at an Oregon start-up called Strands, whose original focus was to provide music recommendations, where my passion for music roamed free.
