An experienced doctor, Dr. Gilbert Varela has led his private practice since 2017, where he focuses on personal and work-related injuries. In addition, Dr. Gilbert Varela has an extensive history leading medical service companies across California. He established Sadler Healthcare in 2002, and serves as the organization’s medical director and chief executive officer. In the roles, Dr. Varela provides residential services to substance abuse patients. The center has 96 treatment beds across three locations. For the past six years, he has also served as Alliance Health Systems’ chief executive officer and president. Since joining the company, Dr. Gilbert Varela has secured numerous contracts with medical services firms, including Molina Health. Before medicine, he studied biology and psychology at Claremont College, where he earned a bachelor of science. Dr. Varela subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine Medical School. He also attended Pepperdine University, where he earned a master of business administration in 1997.
