Position Summary
Plan and manage all aspects of industrial engineering activities capacity building, system building, and monitoring, design continuous improvement in all section and implementation and monitoring, not limited to leading subordinate staff in achieving below goals to enhance factory performance; Lean System, Kaizen, GSD
Position Reports to General Manager
Internal Contacts: Work with another department e.g., Planning and Merchandising, Production,
Mechanic, Training, Technical, Quality, Cutting, Finishing and Human Resources team and
Sewing Line Operator
Duties and Responsibilities KPI
Monitor efficiency report and quality monitoring report Investigate, discuss high,
low efficiency and the top three defects
Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Check weekly schedule. Ensure to manage and monitor things needed before
set up the machine, work instruction mock-ups, etc. are already.
Check initial work instruction/operations breakdown with SMV's before release
to production.
TRAINING AND REFRESHER COURSES
Make a plan for a refresher course of Lean System, Kaizen, Traffic light
system and GSD standard processes
Train/support IE Supervisor/Line IES that will conduct training. Ensure
each and everyone understands every detail of the training.
Conduct internal training of GSD/refresher course to IE Team at least
once a year
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Support continuous improvement. Target at least 1 improvement per IE
Supervisor Any improvement including systems, visual management
and processes
Continuously search processes/systems/machinery that can
improve production line in terms of cost and productivity. Attend training
and seminar if needed.
