The recipient of a bachelor's degree in marketing and management and an MBA in accounting from Florida Atlantic University, James Vanloffelt is an experienced financial professional who began his career in a supply financial operations capacity with the United States Marine Corps. Following 4 years with the military branch, James Vanloffelt joined the private sector as a finance manager at Pacific Architects and Engineers. He has since worked as a finance director at JJ Taylor and a controller at Bayview Construction. James Vanloffelt has served as a controller at Cobham since 2018. Complementing more than 15 years of financial management experience, he is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. In addition, he belongs to the Institute of Management Accountants. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Vanloffelt enjoys traveling, hiking, studying military history, and participating in and training for Ironman Triathlon events. He has also competed in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
