An experienced health care professional in Quincy, Illinois, Jeffrey Alan Parrish holds a master of business administration from Benedictine University at Springfield, a bachelor of science in nursing from Illinois State University, and a bachelor of arts from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Early in his career, Jeffery Alan Parrish spent several years caring for acute and chronic cardiac patients as a registered nurse with Memorial Medical Center. For more than 17 years, Mr. Parrish worked as a procedural RN with the Prairie Heart Institute at Saint John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, which was named one of top 50 heart hospitals in the United States. Working in an advanced hybrid cath lab that saw more than 6,000 patients annually, he gained experience in cardiology and peripheral diagnostics and intervention, electrophysiology, ablations, pacemakers, and automatic internal cardiac defibrillators. He also contributed to the training of new nurses and the development of educational materials for his specialty. Since 2020, Mr. Parrish has worked in the skilled nursing unit at Blessing Hospital. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and completing home improvement projects.
