Lazar Finker is a Jacksonville-based educator and philanthropist. He, along with his wife, Raissa, first came to America to teach at Florida Community College. After his time there, he decided to settle down in the state, where he founded the Finker-Frenkel Legacy Foundation, a philanthropic organization focusing on causes such as child welfare, medical research, and religious development. Outside of his career, Lazar Finker is an avid violinist.
