Active with the Houston Paralegal Association, Marc Martin recently completed graduate certification in the paralegal field at Rice University’s Glasscock School. There, he undertook coursework in areas such as contract and tort law as well as the federal rules guiding civil procedure. Marc Martin’s skills extend to legal research and the drafting of accurate and concise litigation documents for attorneys. Mr. Martin holds paralegal status at the Houston law firm of Pipkin Ferguson, PLLC, and employs extensive knowledge of Texas civil procedure. Working under attorney oversight, he proofs and drafts construction law-related documents and performs clerical tasks, such as attorney time entry. He is proficient in the use of technologies such as e-filing and e-serving pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Fitness-focused, Mr. Martin enjoys activities such as hiking, rock climbing, cycling, and CrossFit in his free time.
