A member of Who’s Who in American Law, Michael Camilleri is the president and chief executive officer of American Financial Security Life Insurance Company and a principal with insurance agency Matrix Consulting, both located in Boca Raton, Florida. Drawing on broad experience with labor and employment laws, Michael Camilleri has helped draft workers compensation legislation in multiple states, in addition to speaking at national conferences. He has also written articles on various insurance topics for publications such as the American Bar Association’s Tort & Insurance Law Journal. A founding board member of the American Association of Workers Compensation Professionals, Mr. Camilleri received the organization’s Legend Award in 2005. He holds a bachelor of arts from Long Island University and a law degree from Fordham Law School. A past chairman of the American Bar Association’s Workers Compensation Committee, Mr. Camilleri of Boca Raton previously held positions such as associate counsel, vice president of national affairs, and general counsel with the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc.
