The recipient of a bachelor's degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from Yale School of Management, Peggy Hebard earned the CPA and CFA designations and began her career as a senior associate at Coopers & Lybrand in 1995. Working in its Business Assurance Financial Services Practice, she completed quarterly and annual financial statement audits. Peggy Hebard joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting in 1997 as an associate in its Financial Services Investment Management Practice. Peggy Hebard later worked as a director at Standard & Poor's, where she performed ratings analysis for gaming and cruise businesses, including International Game Technology and Royal Caribbean Cruises. Since 2007, she has served as senior advisor to the executive office at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In this latest capacity, Peggy Hebard leverages more than 25 years of relevant experience to oversee the museum's range of revenue-generating areas, such as restaurants and the parking garage. Among other accomplishments, she initiated a $5 million capital project to boost restaurant revenue and led a project team that highlighted the financial benefits of keeping the museum open 7 days a week. It had previously been closed on Mondays since 1971.
