Cardiac Service Line Director @ Adventist Health Castle Hospital
In June of 2021 Peter Seti Uluave Jr relocated to Kailua, Hawaii and accepted a position as the Cardiac Service Line Director for Adventist Health Castle Hospital.
From 2013 until 6/2021, Peter Seti Uluave Jr. has held nursing positions with the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Health System. Peter S. Uluave joined the organization and became the Cath Lab Nurse Manager at the Hillsboro campus, in which role he provided patient care and administrative responsibilities to Cardiac Cath lab patient populations. In 2016, he took on more administrative tasks and duties with the hospital’s Administrative resource unit.
As the Administrative Nurse Manager, Peter Seti Uluave Jr. was responsible for staff evaluations, annual strategic planning, and hospital-wide logistics. Four years after joining OHSU, he transferred to the main Portland campus to begin work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology laboratories, where he delivers patient care and participates in research trials.
Peter S. Uluave holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Utah and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Westminster College. A retired combat medic, he possesses additional credentials in veteran suicide prevention and warrior in transition case management. He maintains affiliation with the Oregon Nurses Association.
