Job Role:
Creating CICD Pipeline: Setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for automating code integration and deployment, both in on-premises and AWS environments.
Cloud Migration Planning: Assessing customer environments, proposing cloud migration plans, and delivering cloud migration projects.
Infrastructure Management: Ensuring the availability and uptime of both on-premises and cloud services, 24/7, by setting up alerts and implementing actions based on those alerts.
Cloud Implementation: Assessing customer requirements, proposing cloud implementation plans, and delivering cloud solutions.
Disaster Recovery: Designing disaster recovery and backup solutions, particularly for critical applications.
Cost Estimation: Creating cost estimation reports for both on-premises servers and AWS resources to optimize cloud costs.
AWS Expertise: Demonstrating a strong understanding of AWS services, including networking, storage, virtual machines (VMs), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
Automation: Automating infrastructure tasks using Bash shell scripting and AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, as well as managing configurations with Ansible.
Container Management: Running and maintaining containers and microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Linux Maintenance: Automating maintenance tasks on Linux servers using shell scripting.
AWS Networking: Proficiency in AWS networking components such as VPNs, VPC peering, application gateways, and load balancers.
Infrastructure Team Management: Being responsible for end-to-end management of non-production and production environments, including preparing environments for end users and stakeholders.
Issue Resolution: Coordinating issue resolutions with development teams and providing fixes and root cause analysis within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
