As the president and owner of Charitable Planning Services (CPS) in Las Vegas, Rich Kruithoff advises certified public accountants on a range of tax planning issues. CPS has particular expertise in helping clients support meaningful charities while maximizing tax benefits. Before assuming his leadership position with CPS in 2015, Rich Kruithoff served seven years as a financial advisor with the Las Vegas offices of New York Life, assisting clients in areas that include stock analysis, insurance guidance, estate planning, and general financial consulting. Over the course of a business career that spans over two decades, he has served as store director of Family Fare Supermarkets and president of the business training company Training By Design. Family Fare generated approximately $20 million in revenue under his leadership, and Training By Design served large corporate and institutional clients such as Gerber Baby Foods and Michigan State University. CPS has lent its support to more than 100 charities under Mr. Kruithoff's direction, and he also played a key role in the development and administration of the nongovernmental organization Hands of Hope.
