Based in Washington, DC, Samir H. Bhatt joined SHB Advisors in 2013 and continues to drive activities as managing director. He previously gained leadership experience over the course of 3 years in a director role with Markit in New York City. Between 2008 and 2009, Samir H. Bhatt served as the vice president of Highbridge Capital Management, also in New York City. Over the course of his career as a business leader, he has gained insight into various industries and trends, ranging from the development of effective credit card rewards programs to analyzing developments in commercial property markets. Mr. Bhatt holds a master of business administration in general management from the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University. He previously studied computer science as an undergraduate at Cornell, earning a bachelor of science in 1995. He remains involved with his alma mater, while also making time for philanthropic organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A few of his personal interests, meanwhile, include basketball, cars, and international travel.
