• Coordinate the company's AHA and NAEMT training center's.
• Coordinate, schedule, and instruct new-hire training, AHA, NAEMT, and continuing education classes.
• Ensure the successful onboarding, orientation, and continuing education/training of the entire employee group.
• Assist and/or maintain employee certification and educational records.
• Provide instructional support for all aspects of training, education, and remediation.
• Assist with education and training of employees related to clinical standards and skill maintenance.
• Perform field ride-a-longs to assess current clinical skills and the environment as designated by the director of the department.
• Tracking and trending of clinical issues identified through PCR audits Clinical Data Analysis, and Quality Assurance Reviews.
• Oversee and monitor the FTO & Instructor cadre. Monitor student class surveys, clinical performance indicators, and patient engagement surveys.
• Gather, compile, and organize pertinent quality metrics into a monthly issued FTO Report Card, providing constructive feedback and monitoring overall performance.
• Active participation in quality, safety, and training initiatives.
• Function as a professional ambassador to our partners in the community.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies and procedures (HIPAA, Sunstar Paramedics Employee Handbook, Pinellas County EMS Rules & Regulations, OSHA, etc.).
