您好，我叫林威廷，畢業於台灣大學農藝系，在英國利物浦大學拿到行銷碩士學位，一路上始終在行銷業務領域就職。擔任行銷和管理相關職業的原因除了與碩士專業相關以外，更重要的其實是能更好的把自己的優勢和個人特質相連結。大學時除了學業之外，我也在課外活動的部分投入了很多。學業可以靠自己加強，但我覺得社團和參加活動是培養自己和別人相處，尋找自己在團體中定位的最好機會。這些大大小小的幹部經歷讓我有豐富的領導和管理經驗。這期間擔任了社長、活動長、總召等等的管理級幹部，也因此培養了良好的表達和溝通能力。畢業後於陸軍裝甲旅擔任飛彈兵，一年的兵旅生涯大大的加強了我的抗壓性。 退伍後我在一間關於教育學習的數位行銷公司擔任行銷顧問師一職，負責的業務內容從傳統電話行銷到世貿策展、舉辦社區活動等等。公司的升遷制度已連續業績達標為標準，而我也在半年內達標升遷主任一職，管理2到3人。擔任管理職的這段時間裡也讓我學習到管理層級需要考慮的各個面向，而非只是單論優秀的個人能力。也感謝當時的督導和總監在銷售技巧和經驗傳承對我都不遺餘力。第二份工作很幸運的有機會到完全不同的環境歷練，我到了位於上海的一間化工公司就任行銷經理。雖然這段期間內並非擔任管理一職，更多的仍是磨練個人的綜合能力，不過兩岸的文化差異仍是讓我好好的上了一課。此外，專業的傳統產品和前一份工作偏向服務性質的產品更偏向結果導向，也讓我了解到自己外語能力仍不足，萌生了出國進修的想法。 一年後我給自己留了一段時間補充準備留學英國的事項，工作後我很清楚的知道自己想進修的偏向行銷，於是申請了University if Liverpool 的Msc Marketing。由於我大學農學院的學歷和管理學院沒辦法對接，因此我在一年的Master之前先修了一年Premaster來銜接管院的課程。兩年在英國的進修生活並沒有因此讓我變成一個多厲害的行銷人，但我直到這時才第一次系統化的了解行銷，也從與來自世界各國的同儕和導師的討論和專案研究中汲取了豐富的經驗。 經過了兩年的工作歷練和留學的進修學習，我在行銷管理等等各方面都有堅實的基礎，也堅信自己靈活的能力能為貴公司貢獻一份力量，如果有機會於貴公司效力，還請不吝通知面試時間地點，我也會盡全力配合，謝謝您。 My name is Lin Wei-Ting. I hold a Master’s degree with a major in Marketing which was awarded to me by University of Liverpool in UK last year. After finishing the degree, I want to apply for a position in marketing to use what I learned from the school. The reason for working as a marketer is not only because of people's major, but it also links the personal characteristics of individual to the strengths. When I was an ungraduated student, I devoted many my energies and enthusiasms to the extracurricular activities because I think participate in activities are the fine opportunities to improve myself and apply the skills and knowledges flexibly. During that period, I served as many kinds of managerial cadre such as the director, event general coordinator, and thus cultivated good expressive capacity and communication skills. When it comes to my work experience, I had worked as a sales manager at a digital marketing company which promotes online education. I was in charge of everything about marketing from traditional telemarketing to organizing the exhibition. Due to meeting the sales targets, I was promoted to supervisor, managing 2 to 3 people. During that time in the management position, I also realized that I should consider more aspects at the management level, not just focusing on the growth of personal ability. I would appreciate my supervisor and director who spared no effort to teach me in leading skills and their own experience. Then, it was fortunate that I got an opportunity to experience a completely different environment. I got a position in a chemical company in Shanghai, and I was responsible for selling the chemical materials. Although I did not hold a management position during this period, I still learned a lot due to the different culture from Taiwan. Furthermore, promoting professional products is not like the service-oriented products in previous job, more stressing the result. This experience made me realize my insufficiency of foreign language ability and started to plan to study abroad. Through interacting with my classmates and tutor coming from worldwide, I got a wealth of experience and got a comprehensive idea for the meaning of marketing. Combining former work experience and what I learned in the university in UK, I can state that I have a solid foundation in marketing management. I also believe that my flexible ability can contribute and bring the benefits to the company.
