Tedi Teabout possesses 5 years of experience working with children and adults dealing with mental health issues such as autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and explosive disorder. She currently serves patients as the chief executive officer and clinical director of ABA Adaptive Services in Carlsbad, California, where she has worked since 2018. In this role, Tedi Teabout conducts behavioral assessments and writes client-specific treatments based on empirically supported assessment data. She also works with staff members to ensure consistency and efficacy of treatment, and consults with Wayne State University professors on a weekly basis to inform her own professional development. Tedi Teabout began her career in behavior analysis as a behavioral technician at the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan, where she used applied behavior analysis to work with low-functioning autistic children. She also served as a senior behavioral technician and a behavior supervisor prior to relocating to California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in education.
