A service manager at Lazer Home Services in Des Moines, Iowa, Vaughn Christensen draws on over two decades of experience in sales and operations management. He oversees a team comprised of plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical technicians. Alongside conducting sales and customer-relations training, Vaughn Christensen works one-on-one with technicians and office staff to develop their career goals.
Prior to Lazer Home Services, he spent 5 years with Bill Jacobs Auto Group. He joined the company as a service support manager at Bill Jacobs BMW, where he managed a 55-member team of operational support personnel. Later on, he became a service advisor at Bill Jacobs Volkswagen. In this capacity, he was responsible for the service writing process.
Mr. Christensen has a bachelor of science in marketing from Drake University. After he graduated magna cum laude from the college, he undertook the US Army’s Adjutant General Officer Basic Course. He then returned to school to pursue a master of business administration at the Kellogg School of Management.
Vaughn Christensen volunteers for a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore, as well as with efforts to help people experiencing homeless. In his spare time, he enjoys sports like softball, tennis, and golf. He also studies the ancient philosophy of stoicism and finds pleasure in reading biographies of great leaders.
