As proof of concept, InChat app showcases how the combination of "Aptos token design" and "InJoy profile module" can optimize exclusive communities’ user experience.

How Aptos InChat works with Aptos token

1. Chat creator airdrops an NFT on Aptos to a receiver, which stays in “Pending” state
2. The receiver then claims the token manually to be able to join the Chat room.
3. The InChat design is similar to sending request to others and wait for confirmation
4. We utilized the token design and demonstrate it as a chat app

Target Users

Exclusive communities, DAOs, chat groups can be token-gated through an Aptos NFT.

What's next for Aptos InChat?

In the next few months we will work on universal identity layer. Which will benefit both developers and users.

For developers: This allows developers focus on their application because they don't have to spend time maintaining user data and growing data on their own. They will be able to fetch and reuse those data in few line of codes.

For users: Users are able to apply different apps by submitting their information just once. Massive UX improvement on all Aptos apps will surely attract more users to Move to Aptos ecosystem.

In short, this is an important infrastructure that could cause the ecosystem of Aptos accelerates even faster in bear market. Unlike any other SocialFi which attracts people by "Fi" to build unstable "Social", we prefer to build "Social" first to stabilize the community of Aptos. Having robust "Social" leads to exponential growing "Fi".
