With the increasing usage of cryptocurrencies in this world, our team have decided to build our own cryptocurrency wallet this year. Unlike other star-ups building non-custodial apps, we want to build a custodial app first. By designing it in a user-friendly way, to let user be able to send and receive cryptocurrencies via their digital wallet app.
Our objective with this new project was to build a MVP first, so we can sell this idea to the clients to get the fund, and after that, we will iterate this product by gathering users' feedbacks, to understand reasons behind user drop offs and uninstalls or maybe run A/B tests to measure the performance.

After weeks of meeting with product owner on what this project should look like, we are ready for building mockups to make this product developable. Besides this, we also lay out a plan to move forward on the new project which is a back office, to let the enterprise can have the control on this mobile app.
We used the low-fidelity prototype to meet with the clients once a week, by doing this, it helped our team ensure that this MVP was aligned with their requirements.
As these ideas were translated into the prototype, the project manager presented this with the clients and got their agreements.
There were some takeaways as I joined this project for six months, I believed these will still have more but currently I just summarized for what I got by now:
1. Sometimes the clients did not know what they really want, so it is very important to show the value and professionalism of our team, and also tell the clients why this product should be designed like this.
2. It is important to deeply understand the digital payment system, like how does this transactions work in blockchain, how Secure Is Cryptocurrency?
3. There are hundreds of exchanges for the end-users to choose from, to make our product outstanding in this field, doing the well-researched and well-designed is also crucial.
