Here is a dynamic sales dashboard for year 2019–2022 so that the company can get insight to make data decisions, this dashboard covers analyzing, cleaning and visualizing data. From this dashboard we can get:

Insight:

  1. August accounts for the highest revenue among the months, With the highest sales and highest profits in 2022.
  2. Category of Technology is the primary revenue contributor, accounting for 38% of total sales, followed by Office Supply 35%, and Furniture 27%.
  3. The Consumer segment is the primary revenue contributor, and the Central Region accounted for the highest income followed by South and North.
  4. Economy shipping is the most popular mode, followed by Economy Plus and Priority Class. Intermediate shipping has the lowest sales. Customers tend to choose Economy shipping, possibly because of the low cost and standard delivery.
  5. The Art sub-category has the highest total quantity followed by the binder and phone sub-categories. But the product that has the highest profit is in the phone category.

Recommendations

  1. Focus on the Consumer segment, which accounts for the majority of sales and generates the highest profits by tailoring marketing and promotions for further growth.
  2. Consumers tend to prefer faster but cheaper shipping mode. Promote the use of Economy shipping due to its popularity and cost-effectiveness and encourage customers to choose other, faster shipping options by offering discounts or free shipping on Economy Plus, Priority Class and Intermediate Class shipping.
  3. Maximize sales in the Central region, which has the highest sales and profits and evaluating sales in the south and north regions and being able to see the opportunities they have in those regions, by considering what products are needed more by consumers in these regions.
  4. Nokia Smart Phone Full Size products has the highest advantage because of the need for technology in this day and age, this can also affect sales. The promotion of this product can be further enhanced to increase the number of sales such as by providing discounts on mobile products to increase the quantity sold. Apart from that, it is necessary to maintain consumer confidence in this product by maintaining the quality of this product. And for other products can be more innovative or bring up new products to attract customers and increase sales.
