During my high school years, I developed an interest in programming and taught myself C/C++, PHP, and MySQL. I then became the president of an information-related club and won first place in the school's information technology competition. Due to my active participation in cybersecurity communities online, I was recruited into Zuso, the second-largest cybersecurity team in Taiwan, where I was responsible for identifying and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for clients. I also worked as a lecturer at cybersecurity camps during high school and collaborated with government agencies on related projects. In 2009, I achieved second place at Hackers In Taiwan conference.



I possess expertise in both information technology and finance, making me a versatile professional. For my graduate research, I compared the performance of a deep reinforcement learning-based trading system with traditional trading methods.



Following that, based on my thesis, I co-founded the Smart Capital team with friends and implemented real trading using artificial intelligence trading systems for a year. However, my friends couldn't commit full-time to the role of a quant trader, so we ended the venture by the year's end. In recent years, with the rise of blockchain technology, I've also learned how to write smart contracts and was invited to work on a blockchain project at Concord Securities.



After graduating, I joined Fubon Life Insurance as a machine learning engineer, where I developed a one-sentence travel insurance model based on natural language processing. This model allows users to complete travel insurance applications through voice or text queries within one to two minutes. In computer vision, I applied for a patent that verifies the authenticity of signatures on paper, and another patent for OCR of insurance policies, both of which have been approved (TW M593008 & TW M585459).



Later, due to organizational restructuring, I transferred to Concord Securities to continue my research in line with my thesis. I developed the framework and core algorithms for a deep reinforcement learning trading robot and transitioned to the prop trading department as a quantitative trader, specializing in volatility arbitrage quantitative research.



After my Concord Securities journey, I traded at a private fund in Dubai owned by a friend, but due to health issues, including severe allergies and rashes, I returned to Taiwan and engaged in one-sided trading at an online prop trading firm, earning profits through profit cuts. My trading primarily focuses on one-sided directional trades, mainly in forex CFDs and ES mini/micro futures. I utilize Stage Analysis and Auction Market Theory to determine the market's short and long-term fair value and trade accordingly. I have extensive experience in developing trading strategies for MT4, using smart coding to generate data, conduct quantitative analysis, output reports, and develop/ optimize trading strategies using a Python system I developed myself.



Based on the above experiences, I believe my strengths lie in my dual expertise in information technology and finance, as well as my self-learning abilities and perseverance character. I am passionate about learning new technologies and can adapt and improve my skills as technologies evolve.
