The Carbon Farming Initiative is a global restoration initiative that aims to assist in restoring agricultural regions that animals and crops have damaged. With Hancock's assistance, this has now been expanded to include restoring the water quality of Australia's 350,000 sq km Great Barrier Reef Catchment region (GBR), which is home to tens of billions of living coral.
