The thesis entitled “The impact of motivational factors on employees' organizational engagement: Actual research at Vietnam Region Branch of Vietnam Airlines JSC Company” was conducted to evaluate the factors influencing the organizational alignment of staff at company. Based on the theory of influencing the organizational alignment of staff, combined with a qualitative study authors identified 06 independent variables: (1) the nature of work, (2) training and promotion, (3) salary, (4) colleagues, (5) leaders, (6) working conditions. The author uses mixed methods including qualitative research methods and quantitative research to conduct this study. Qualitative research aims to clarify meaning, validation, editing and supplementing the observed variables measuring concepts in modeling studies in theoretical research models. Quantitative research was conducted with a sample of 205 staff working at Southern Region - Vietnam Branch of Vietnam Airlines JSC and through survey questionnaires to measure and evaluate the reliability and validity of the study. The statistical SPSS 26.0 software was used for data analysis.
Research shows that current employees have an average level of organizational engagement (average value of engagement factors = 3.8). Results of multivariate regression showed six positive factors ainfluencing the organizational alignment of staff Vietnam Region Branch of Vietnam Airlines JSC Company. In particular, variable leaders (X5) has the strongest impact (β5 = 0,253), the next most influential factor is variable salary (X3) (β3 = 0,250). The lowest impact is variable colleagues (X4) (β4 = 0,120). From the research results, the author has made some implications to increase influencing the organizational alignment of staff. Also the author has made some recommendations for further studies in the future.
