Iveco Daily Luton

The 3rd generation of Iveco Daily Luton has been a leading choice among business owners in the UK looking for a van that could handle a more challenging work environment. As it is one of the handful of Luton vans using separate body and chassis construction, it is stronger and can carry heavier payloads than most of its competitors. This amalgamation of durability and strength makes the new Iveco Daily ideal for transporting larger goods.

Moreover, buyers also have the option to choose from a host of additional packs and customize the van as per their business needs. The latest iteration of this top-selling Luton van comes with several upgrades, including an improved manual gearbox, Air-Pro suspension, more comfortable seats, Iveco Driver Pal, improved engines, and a lot more.

A More Powerful Drive

Starting with the engine, the new Iveco Daily can be click here purchased with a 2.3l or 3.0l engine. The 2.3l variant offers a maximum power of 116hp to 156hp. As for the 3.0l engine, it is available in 3 power ratings from 160hp to 207hp and a maximum torque of 470nm. Moreover, the 3.0l engine is also available in the CNG version. Iveco has redesigned the after-treatment system and it now features an innovative SCR technology to significantly extend the body-fitting options.

The engines also comply with the Euro 6d Final and Euro VI-E guidelines for reduced emissions. The manufacturer has also extensively worked on the fuel efficiency of the Daily Luton. For instance, pressure in the rail system of the 2.3l engine is increased by 25% for improved combustion efficiency. There are also new pistons to enhance the thermo-mechanic resistance. Overall, these new upgrades can offer fuel savings of up to 6%.

Precision Shifting Every Single Time

Moreover, to reduce the cost of ownership, the van does not require oil change for up to 350,000km. Even the durability of the clutch has been improved by an impressive 18% in the 2.3l engine.

Some other noteworthy improvements are an improved transmission shifter, an updated synchronization system, improved torque, and reduced overall vehicle weight. Even the lubrication system, sealings, and bearings are upgraded for improved efficiency. As for the automatic gearbox variant, it is available with the new-age 8-Speed Hi-Matic transmission for improved fuel economy, performance, safety, and comfort.
