I am the type of person that seeks out positions where the day-to-day operations could best be described as "controlled chaos". Whether it's as exciting as helping my spouse to build a company from the ground up or the fluid, ever changing day-to-day demands of the hospitality and property management fields; I thrive on conquering challenges and creative problem solving.

Owner/Residential Specialist. Created a successful residential remodeling and renovation company in Northwest Arkansas with a A+ reputation on Angie's List and earned the Best of Houzz Award two years running in the Service category. Company's mission was to raise the bar in our local community for quality craftsmanship from a family-run operation and to provide above par customer service in the residential remodeling field.
IC for larger residential/commercial General Contractors and executed additional work autonomously as a local "handyman" in order to free up the time and resources needed to launch my own company.
Networked with various independent motel/hotel owners in numerous states with defunct properties. One half of a two-person team responsible for restoring the physical, code compliant functioning of said properties while simultaneously returning an income generating status through interdepartmental operations.
Performed custom renovation and remodeling services in the residential and light commercial fields. Additionally responsible for marketing, client retention, and hiring of personnel.
Partner/Office Manager. Just to name a few of the hats I wore on behalf of the company: advertising/marketing, basic accounting and bookkeeping, public relations/networking, product/service procurement, online presence (social media, website, reputation management), contract execution and management, client/vendor relations, customer service, in-house IT/Tech (acquisitions and/or troubleshooting), Invoicing/Billing/Collections and the occasionally job site supervision.
Volunteer opportunity turned into a financially gainful and adventurous position. Networked with various independent motel/hotel owners in numerous states with defunct properties. One half of a two person team; I was responsible for the re-establishment of income generating operations, human resources, fostering of an entity specific culture, basic accounting, billing/collections, public relations/reputation management, client/vendor acquisition and retention, interdepartmental cohesion, emergency response measures, guest safety/security, and more.
Positions in this field ran the gamut from "greasy spoon" establishments to upper end eateries (3-Star to 4-Star). I grew to love the pandemonium inherent to this industry. Everyday was a "new" day with challenges and obstacles to be overcome. Always more knowledge to be learned and responsibilities to be earned. Aside from deepening and expanding skills already learned; I gained acute attention to details, pre-managerial abilities in human resources and day-to-day operations, and became proficient in social/peer objectivity.
Secured employment post-high school years in the retail and telecommunications industries. These positions taught me that dogma and monotony were not a good fit for my personality type. However, these jobs also showed me that I had a passion and "knack" for customer service. Skills were earned in areas as sales, merchandising, loss prevention measures, listening, and interpersonal communication.
