Anthony Kopiecki has always felt a pull towards the healthcare industry. He can still remember the moment he felt his calling towards healthcare when he witnessed the selfless, missionary work of surgeons helping provide relief to children born with cleft palates.
It was in this moment that his life truly began. The pieces of his separate passions - the desire to help people and the desire to excel in academic, scientific, and business endeavors - began to take hold in this moment. Before moving into his professional career, Anthony received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota and his M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Anthony has also worked as an active member of the Surgery Club and Emergency Medicine Club at SGU where he honed his skills practicing different surgical techniques.
He also acted as a tutor in Biochemistry and Physiology for the Department of Educational Services in True Blue, Grenada. Anthony completed his clinical rotations at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center as well as one year of surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center.
