  • Built event-driven systems using industry leading technologies like Golang, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, etc.

• Built an RSA cryptography-based authentication system for secure communication between the platform and the locally installed agents.
  
• Designed and built the patch/update deployment system to deploy the installable patches, execute tasks, etc at the endpoints.
  • Improved the time to release from days to hours with millions of updates with terabytes of data being processed at any given point in time.
  • Improvement of one-click 3rd party product integration over the legacy's custom installer deployment mechanism.
• Designed and built a system for the Platform to report the endpoint's (desktop/server, etc) live status (online/offline).
  • Scalable and tested on 10+ million endpoints. 10x improvement over the legacy product.
  • Improved the online/offline status detection time from 30 minutes to 50 seconds.
• Built locally installable agents with capabilities to monitor, report and execute the tasks (scripts, OS updates, etc) on endpoints. Built the Windows and Linux agent using WIX and makeself toolset. Also, built the MacOS agent compliant to its Apple notarization process.
  • Designed and built the continuous and automated delivery pipelines to install these on endpoints at scale using Jeniks CI/CD.

• Built a service to efficiently distribute the locally installable agents using AWS Lamba and AWS CDN.
  • 36TB of data usage improvement using token-based installation over the legacy system's per partner custom installer solution.
