Dr Brian Klagges

Experienced Interventional Pain Specialist

Certified by the New Hampshire Medical Licensing Board, Dr. Brian Klagges is an anesthesiologist who balances several leadership and interventionist positions at medical centers and institutions across the state. Dr. Brian Klagges has been a staff physician in the department of surgery at Elliot Hospital for more than 10 years.

As a partner with Amoskeag Anesthesia and the director of Elliot Hospital’s pain management center, he oversees interventional treatment plans. In 2017, he joined New Hampshire Neurospine Institute as an interventional pain specialist. Most recently, he was appointed the chief of anesthesiology at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center of New England.

Brian Klagges, MD, has contributed to peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Vascular Surgery, and co-authored guidelines for minimally invasive spine treatments. He has previously held academic appointments with the Tufts University School of Medicine, and is a current member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Brian Klagges earned his MD from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and completed residencies in general surgery and anesthesiology at medical centers in Boston.
