What did I learn from school/ work?
I am currently attending night school at Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology and work as a front desk clerk at Happy Star Hotel.
Being both a student and a front desk clerk at a hotel has allowed me to become an efficient multitasker, reliable, responsible, and have great interpersonal skills. Though sometimes I lack a bit of confidence and may be considered introverted, my determination to succeed and get the job done well tends to supersede my reticent nature.
Being a front desk clerk has allowed me to improve my English-speaking capabilities on a day-to-day basis. I have learned to become a proactive problem solver and work autonomously and successfully. With over 4 years under my belt, I have come to understand the hospitality business from the ”inside out” and the importance of serving travelers with a smile. As a student, I always motivate myself to be the top of my class and participate in extra-curricular activities. In the past when I was the class leader, I always strived to be a positive force amongst my classmates.
I like to believe in helping people with all my heart is one of my strongest traits. No matter how difficult a situation may be, I always try to keep a positive perspective on it will reap the greatest achievement and satisfaction in the end.
