Jennifer Soto led the financial aid office at Kissimmee, Florida’s Florida Technical College throughout 2011 and 2012. She managed all operations in the department while spearheading the development and implementation of various financial aid and financial literacy programs. In 2012, while still serving as director of financial aid, Jennifer Soto joined a local government agency as chief operating officer. She served in this role until 2021, successfully launching a self-help legal department for the local community and leading an initiative that resulted in Florida’s first courthouse to perform same-sex marriages.
Ms. Soto holds an associate of science degree in paralegal studies from the Interboro Institute in New York City. In 2020, she enrolled in a business administration program at Valencia College. Over the course of her career, she has engaged in a number of community engagement activities, including donations to a local Turkey Giveaway, multiple food banks, and the Give Kids the World charity.
