I was working on improving model accuracy to achieve customer's requests by analyzing the model weakness in customer's case.
To optimize the performance(FPS) of ai solution , I replaced the old streaming architecture with gstreamer pipeline which was a fully customized pipeline to fit our need.
I built two demo projects with OpenVINO and NEMO ress pectively on our hardware product which had showed to different customers.
I chaired the AOI system development project. I leveraged my machine learning skills to establish optical character recognition on cable, and cable surface defect pattern inspection.
I was fully engaged in designing the digital flow structure of smart factory for our customers.
My name is Shu-Hsien Liao who grew up in a harmonic and democratic family which make me dare to try new things and love to learn. Besides, in my meticulous attention to detail, I deal tasks as perfectly as I can. Analyzing challenge calmly is the first thing to do when I face it. I will list several objectives and accomplish step by step to solve the challenge.
Due to the amazing charm of program, I started my journey to programing when I was undergraduate. I learned java from scratch and combined with IOT concept to lead my team to complete final project. I programed a web crawler to get google map data from addresses given by Taipower. This web crawler saved me lots of time and made me earn much money from Taipower. After that, I implemented a project that used ai algorithm to build a risk assessment model helping workers resting in time. This was my first time to bump into machine learning algorithm. I started to learn and be familiar with machine learning things since then.
Nowadays, I'm a creative developer and a programer with solid python skills possesses one-year experience as an AI engineer. I chaired AOI system development project. I leveraged my machine learning skills to establish OCR on cable, and cable surface defect inspection. The system is running well on customer's production line. Besides, I also finished a case about counting transportation quantity with object detection algorithm during my free time. The outsourcer was very satisfied with my work.

我是廖書賢,在一個和諧又開放的家庭長大,家庭環境造就了我勇於嘗試並積極學習的態度,同時做事時我也是一個嚴謹的人,事情都力求完美,以把漏洞降到最低為原則,目前為AI研發工程師,在閒暇之餘也會接案子增加程式實力。我個性是遇到困難不輕易放棄的人,同時具備樂觀向上的態度,在遇到困難時會先冷靜下來分析,並列出階段性目標一步一步解決難題,另外我對於寫程式這方面很感興趣,我覺得透過程式來達成任務,能使我從中得到莫大的成就感。
在求學時候我覺得程式非常神奇,能夠從無中生有創造東西的感覺令我非常陶醉,於是我便一頭栽入程式的海洋中,大學畢業專題時就從零自學了java並結合本身所學的物聯網觀念,帶領我這組開發出一個透過腦波控制的智慧病床,這次經驗讓我更加堅定地要往程式這方面前進,在研究所時開始接觸Python語言,並接了一個幫台電查資料的案子,我用Python寫了一個自動爬蟲程式讓我交件的效率大增。後來,我也執行了一個利用AI建立動作風險評估系統的計畫,這個計畫讓我開始學習並熟悉機器學習演算法。
目前在先鋒機械擔任全職AI工程師,主要負責開發AOI檢測系統,此系統已在客戶上線檢測,主要是品印刷文字辨識及產品表面品質的檢測兩項主要的功能,並且結合物聯網設計將結果上傳到伺服器資料庫以達成機台連動目的,由於電線製作連續不中斷且快速的特性,我幫程式優化性能使檢測效率提升一倍以上以達到顧客的需求,另外在工作之餘也接了一個利用演算法計算車種流量的案子,主要分為四種車型並且能結合圖片影片或即時影片串流檢測功能,發包者非常滿意我的作品。
我希望未來能在這個崗位幫助公司解決品質問題,並不斷精進自己的程式能力的同時在也得到成就感,達成一個良好的循環持續下去。
