Data Insight Analyst (Vodafone, February 2022 - Present)

Working remotely within the Credit Risk team for Vodafone UK. Hired to create dynamic reporting and analytics for the team with a focus on customer segmentation and identifying risks. Now looking for new opportunities due to ongoing access issues around data needed for role within Vodafone.
  • MicroStrategy for Business Insight (BI) - Developed basic experience and familiarity with MicroStrategy in creating dynamic reports (or "Dossiers"). Learning for this tool was largely self driven.
  • SAS Enterprise Coding language -  Completed an official online training course for SAS Programming Essentials, used for querying, formatting and cleansing data alongside SQL to generate data for use in MicroStrategy.

Started weekly online lessons since the beginning of the pandemic, and have been improving ever since! I've had three trips to Japan (~1 month each) over the past several years, and plan to return for more trips soon!




Video Production

Having travelled extensively across Japan and New Zealand, I have enjoyed filming to document my travels. I have since edited these into a number of high quality travel videos, using Hitfilm Express and other video editing software. My video editing has drastically improved over time, and being entirely self taught it is very rewarding to have others enjoy my videos as well! I have also been able to use this skill in a professional setting a number of times, producing high quality training and presentational videos for the companies I work for, avoiding the need to hire expensive freelancers.
