Leon D. James, DDS, MBA, leverages over a decade of experience in working with patients with dental anxiety and phobias to provide treatment at Wappingers Falls Dental Arts and Harriman Family Dentistry in New York. He addresses a wide range of issues, including craniofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and dental sleep apnea. At Wappingers Falls, Dr. James also oversees the implementation and evaluation of operational projects.

His professional history comprises over 15 years of clinical and executive-level leadership experience, which includes a role as a clinical director. In addition, he spent five years developing and implementing public health programs. Earlier in his career, he oversaw operations and staff at 10 medical and dental facilities through Carrollton Dental Center.

Dr. James earned his doctorate of dental surgery at the Howard University College of Dentistry and completed a general dentistry residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where he cultivated experience in total mouth rehabilitation, sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and implants. He also fulfilled specialty training in implantology and intravenous sedation at the Medical College of Georgia and Montefiore Hospital, respectively. After completing his residency, he attained his master of business administration in healthcare from Texas Tech University.
