Manoj Basnyat is a specialist in the world of development planning and management with more than 25 years of experience. By incorporating a variety of sustainable development solutions, he is able to lead and execute a positive change in the lives of those around him. His impressive work history has shown how he has excelled and thrived within the diversified structures of all types of endeavors, whether they’ve been governmental, privately-owned, or civil society organizations. He is also the recipient of countless awards at both national and local levels. 

He began his education at the Krasnodar Polytechnical Institute (now known as Kuban State Technological University) where he earned his master of science degree with a focus on architecture and planning. He next attended Universitaet Dortmund to receive his post-graduate Diploma in Regional Development Planning and Management. Manoj earned his master of science degree at the Asian Institute of Technology and Universitaet Dortmund, specializing in Regional Development Planning and Management. Furthering his schooling, his executive education at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University was focused on leaders in development.
