In addition to developing a variety of real estate projects, including completing construction and fully leasing over 300 luxury apartments in phase 1 of a master planned walk-able community of over 1000 luxury multifamily units, as the head of the UCR Group, Stephen Reeder served as an executive producer for the movie Windmill (unrelated to the 2016 release) which opened in 1986. The movie was about a developer in the Palm Springs area. Stephen Reeder has also produced and acted in several commercials, including one for Kaufman and Broad, Nu Skin and Anthony Pools.
To inform his career, Stephen Reeder attended Orange Coast College and Golden West College. He studied construction and development at the Monroe Institute. He also studied law at Western State and the University of California, Irvine, and took marketing classes at UCLA.

During his downtime, Mr. Reeder contributes to many charitable organizations, including the Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, a homeless shelter that provides housing and food for those in need. Other charities that he has supported are the Ronald McDonald House, which provides housing to kids who are undergoing cancer treatment, City of Hope, Loma Linda Medical Group, City of Redlands Animal Shelter, the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, and the Redlands Community Hospital. There are countless other charities that he is committed to providing support for on a regular basis as part of maintaining the conscious commitment to give support where he can.
