Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead our development team and collaborate with product PMs to build and maintain web/app services using agile development methodologies.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to provide leadership in agile development. You will oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring efficient collaboration within the team and delivering high-quality code, reliable systems, and optimal performance. By adopting Scrum methodology, you will guide the team in requirements gathering and deployment on both public and private clouds.

You will play a crucial role in application design and development, analyzing requirements and designing scalable and robust application architectures. Taking ownership of module design, coding, containerization, automated testing, and deployment testing (K8S), you will leverage technologies such as Flutter, Vue3, NodeJS, and NestJS to create cross-platform systems for iOS, Android, and Windows. Continuous improvement and optimization of application architecture, performance, and user experience will be at the forefront of your responsibilities.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and clarify system requirements. You will actively contribute to the planning and design of well-structured web/app architectures, ensuring seamless integration of innovative functionality. Your collaboration extends to product designers, where you will translate UI/UX designs into code, seamlessly integrating third-party web services or APIs, and ensuring smooth operations and easy maintenance.

Staying up to date with industry trends, you will contribute to research and development efforts, exploring new software technologies and tools that enhance the development process. Your expertise in process improvement, automation, and innovation will drive continuous growth and success.

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in e-commerce, OTT/VOD, or Live Stream development and operations. Strong leadership skills in agile project development and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments are essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Dart, Python, Go, C++, etc., and familiarity with frameworks like Flutter, Flask, Django, etc., is required. You should also possess knowledge of Linux environments, container technologies like Docker, and microservices development principles.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you should have excellent communication, coordination, and logical reasoning skills. Effective time management, adaptability to a fast-paced work environment, and a self-disciplined approach to task completion are key attributes for success. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

Preferred qualifications include practical experience with the Flutter framework, expertise in designing, deploying, and managing K8S infrastructure, familiarity with common K8S ecosystem tools and technologies such as Helm, Istio, Prometheus, etc., and experience in developing cloud-native applications. Proficiency in CI/CD processes and automated deployment is also advantageous.
