【RD】System SW Senior manager

• Research for the enhancement opportunity for current architecture in order to achieve more modern design
• Lead design discussion between different function teams and vendors
• Be able to propose/plan solution base design architecture for Acer product
• Implement prove of concept for the solution

Minimum qualifications:

1. Education: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.

2. Experience:

• 8+ years’ experience in UEFI BIOS and/or EC development.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture at the CPU and system levels.
• Deep understanding on windows OS internals (frameworks, memory management, kernel).
• Experience debugging with JTAG and/or analyzer.
• Experience with gitlab, Makefile, GNU toolchain and shell scripting.

3. Skills:

• General purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Work proficiency in English. TOEIC scores over 600 is a plus.
• Proficient in team-work, communication and presentation skills.
• Good debugging skills for system integration issue.

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with computer architecture, compilers, machine learning, or image processing.
• Verification experience using FPGAs/Arduino, and/or emulation platforms.
• Experience with Linux kernel and device drivers
• Experience in ARM architecture bootloader and firmware
• Be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack
• Quick learner. Good at learning new knowledge domains.
• Intellectual curiosity. Love to explore.
