QA Automation Engineer (vocol.ai)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for quality assurance testing of our innovative AI conversation intelligence SaaS platform (vocol.ai). The successful candidate will possess a high degree of ownership, taking the lead in ensuring our products meet and exceed the quality standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all aspects of quality assurance testing for our AI conversation intelligence SaaS platform (vocol.ai).
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Work closely with the development team to understand product requirements and features, translate these into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and areas of improvement in the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality product release.
- Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems effectively.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.
- Provide proactive suggestions for quality improvements in product design, processes, and tools.
Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, or similar role in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning concepts is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Solid experience in scripting and automation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
