Asia Public Culture Association (APCA)

「社團法人亞洲公共文化協會」成立於2017年1月，是一個設立在台灣的非政府組織。我們關注區域內的公民社會在促進普世價值與民主深化於本地社會過程中所扮演的關鍵角色與其面臨的挑戰。同時，我們努力提升台灣公民社會對於包含東北亞、東亞及東南亞的公民社會發展的理解與支持。本會主要以開發相關課程、座談會、辦理國際交流及工作坊等方式，支持區域內的公民社會與行動者，提升其對普世價值的深度理解，並以基層行動者為主體，挖掘和發展更符合其本地脈絡的公共政治文化。我們認為區域內的社會皆具有其獨特的精神價值和政治文化，不論該社會實行什麼政治體制，這種發展中的文化和精神都可以是普世價值實踐和生根於本地社會的核心驅動力。

Asia Public Culture Association (APCA) is a non-governmental organisation established in Taiwan in January 2017. We do research, online courses, creativity workshops, conference and international exchange to support rights activists in our region. We value the vital role of civil society in deepening and localising the universal values to societies with different political systems, religions and cultures. We also pay close attention to the challenge they are encountering today. We work to create open space for civil society activists in our region to exchange ideas and their firsthand experiences in order to boost new ideas and discourses derived from the bottom-up experience. We believe that this fruitful output could further strengthen the motivation and creativity of activists in our region to address the global challenges that the universal values are facing today.
