Job Description
- Ensure an accurate tax on every invoice.
- Responsible for ensuring timely financial closing and reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparation of local tax filings, including Value Added Tax (VAT) returns, Withholding Tax (WHT) returns, corporate tax returns, and other tax filings to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Working closely with AR & AP function.
- Support and advice other departments in regards to taxation.
- Perform all tax reports required by both internal & external party accurately and on timely manner to minimize any tax exposure.
- Update the local tax regulation and international tax.
- Maintain a good relationship with external parties to support the company tax’s needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Tax/Finance.
- Preferred experience working at tax consulting.
- Has a Brevet A & B certificate or accounting competency would be preferred.
- Solid local tax knowledge and analytical skills.
- Having 3 years working experience in the Tax Department for high-growth organizations or start-up companies.
- Proficiency in Ms. Office preferably Ms. Excel.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software/ERP is a plus.
- Able to thrive in a face-paced environment.
- Well organized and attention to detail.
- An ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
- Self driven, highly motivated, an ability to work independently.
- Understanding of data privacy standards.
- Good analytical thinking and comfortable with numbers/data.
- Organization skills and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Administration and time management skills.
