Cube HCI consolidates underlying storage, compute, and network resources into a single IT platform and implements cloud computing concepts, like multi-tenancy and IT self-service, which can significantly reduce IT maintenance and deployment cost. You can scale the platform horizontally in minutes and run any application immediately.

As a cloud software technical support, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management of the overall operational excellence of Cube HCI sites.

Basic Qualifications

• Technical troubleshooting of customer reported software issues
• Helping customers with web interface, CLI, or automation scripts
• Identifying bugs in underlying software components and collaboration with engineering staff to isolate root cause
• Reproducing customer reported bugs in lab environments and use collaboration and reporting tools to manage and report
• Assisting engineering staff by reporting bugs, publishing patches and working with the development team to coordinate patch and bug management
• Providing backline support to customers by interpreting log files collected by the system software
• Being able to work with flexible work schedules (weekends and/or evenings when required)­­
• Managing IT environments on behalf of customers

Preferred Skill qualifications

A solid understanding of network, distributed computing, and basic network concepts like routing, switching, and firewalls. Knowledgeable of using Bash/Ansible/Terraform/Python scripting is always a plus.

• Knowledge of some scripting language, the ability to read Bash/Python/ Terraform/Ansible scripts

• Proficiency in Linux OS: knowing RHEL/Centos and Ubuntu well should cover most bases
