* Responsibilities

• Work with fellow engineers to co-create a highly maintainable, scalable and secure application specific backend.
• Participate in team duty roster to troubleshoot systems issue and ensure high rating for site reliability.
• Develop and maintain observability tools such as: Traffic Monitoring Dashboard, Errors Handling Dashboard.

* What you may be doing

• Participate in the weekly team alignment meeting, and 2-weeks cycle sprint process
• Participate in company-wide or departmental-wide meetings such as: Company weekly Meet & Greet or Engineering All-hands.
• Discuss with product manager and Frontend Engineers on product / API requirements
• Discuss with fellow engineers on implementation solutions.
• Suggest architectural improvements, process or code improvements

* Technical Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant backend engineering experience with frameworks: Ruby on Rails, NodeJs or any other equivalent frameworks.
• Advanced user of SQL or any other similar database scripting language
• Experience in RESTful APIs or GraphQL API design and development

* Nice to Have

• Experience in database design for analytics and performance.
• Experience in system design for production application.
• Experience in scaling system for high volume traffic.
• Experience in dev-ops tools. Ie: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
