The Challenge

The Ferrum Platform team is looking for an engineer to expand the internal tools running on on-premise and AWS components. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will seek to deliver a robust solutions that enable both internal and external users of the Ferrum Platform to iterate quickly. 

We are looking for someone who has the following traits:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well with distributed teams

The Role

How you might spend your time:

• Feature design and development
• Address quality issues surfaced by QA and customers
• Documenting and sharing knowledge 

Examples of what you might do:

• Building web applications interacting with medical imaging
• Building and maintaining robust services on AWS
• Maintaining code by creating the appropriate test suites and regression tests 

The Technical Skills

Required:

• Experience in JavaScript (ES 2016) and React.js
• Experience with designing and deploying AWS solutions
• Containers (preferably Docker)
• BS CS/CE or equivalent experiences 

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Redux, Webpack, and react-router
• Linux distributions (preferably CentOS 7)
• Interest in 3D libraries such as OpenGL, WebGL, and Metal
• Building and maintaining APIs
