We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (including firmware, app, and AI teams) to design, implement, and maintain solutions that enhance the overall stability of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, has a strong background in system architecture, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.

【What you will do】

System Architecture and Design:

• Collaborate with backend engineers, firmware team, app team and other stakeholders to design scalable and reliable systems. The midrange goal is a system that can handle 1 million devices online concurrently.

• Participate in the architecture and design of infrastructure components, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Automation and Tooling:

• Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operational processes and reduce manual interventions, especially the CI/CD process of the backend services.

• Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to detect and respond to issues proactively.

Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

• Respond and resolve incidents promptly, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability of applications through proactive monitoring and performance optimization.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• We are moving toward Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for a more sustainable system. You will be at the leading edge to implement and manage infrastructure using IaC principles to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of configuration management and deployment scripts.

Performance and Scalability:

• Work on capacity planning and performance optimization to ensure systems can handle current and future loads.

• Conduct regular assessments of system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations, to address reliability concerns and improve the overall system architecture.

• Provide clear documentation and knowledge sharing to transfer critical information to team members.

【Requirements】

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role.

• Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform).

• Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and security principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
